Some people are only comfortable engaging when a name isn't attached. E.g. Feedback about leadership. A health scare. The question everyone's thinking but nobody wants to be seen asking.
Until now your members had two options: post it and own it, or don't post it at all. Naturally, most picked the latter.
What's new:
An identity picker in the composer.
Writing a post or comment? Tap "Posting as [your name]" and switch to Anonymous. Your name and photo disappear in the feed, in notifications, in emails, everywhere.

No back door.
Not "anonymous unless a moderator checks."
Nobody
in your community sees who posted, admins and owners included.
You still get your replies.
Post anonymously and you're still notified when someone comments. Reply in your own thread and you stay anonymous — no accidentally unmasking yourself three comments down.
Threads stay readable.
Each anonymous participant gets their own icon and colour for that conversation so you can follow who's saying what. These icons live in one thread only and never carry between them, so nobody builds up an accidental pseudonym.
This feature is off by default.
Toggle it on under Space Settings → User Experience when your community's ready, and leave it off if it isn't.

Perfect for feedback hubs, support spaces, and anywhere your members need room to be honest.
