Your live events don't have to stay inside your community anymore. Now you can broadcast the same session to YouTube Live, Facebook, Twitch, LinkedIn, or any RTMP destination at the same time - reaching your public audience and your members in one go, without juggling extra software like StreamYard and Restream.
What's new:
- Stream anywhere:Add your platform's server URL and stream key once, and Swarm pushes your live event out to it automatically when you go on air.
- Reach two audiences at once:Run a single session and broadcast to your community and the world simultaneously (up to 2 external destinations per event).
- Save your destinations:Set up a channel once and reuse it on every future event with a single checkbox. No re-entering keys.
- Full control while you're live:See at a glance whether each destination is connecting, live, or needs attention, and stop or restart your external broadcast anytime ā your Swarm event keeps running either way.
Perfect for coaches, creators, and community leaders who want to grow their audience beyond their community - host once, reach everywhere.
Look for "Make this event public" when creating your next event.

The minutes before a live event kicks off used to be dead air. Not anymore. Watch a video walkthrough ā
Waiting rooms
Hold attendees in a branded waiting room until you're ready to go live. No more confused "is this thing on yet?" messages: everyone lands in one place and gets pulled into the event the moment you start.
They're enabled by default, but you can control this in your event settings:

Once you're in the event room, you'll spot a new menu in the top right: use it to see who's currently waiting, or to go ahead and start the event. This will admit everyone from the waiting room:

Bee Line: your built-in pre-event game š
Energy matters before you go live. Bee Line is a fun little social game built right into the waiting room, so attendees have something to do while you get set up. It's a small touch that makes your events feel premium and gets people joining literally "buzzing".
Attendees see this prompt while they wait and can jump into the game with one tap:

Bee Line plays like Flappy Bird with a twist: everyone in the waiting room competes for the top score.

Better live recordings
A few more updates:
- Transcripts and meeting summaries used to cap at 30 minutes. That limit is gone. Now people who missed an event can read the full summary and get all the value without having to watch the recording.
- Every recording now gets a sharp, auto-generated thumbnail.
- You can choose the quality of your live recordings (SD or HD).
Daily, weekly, and monthly weren't enough? We agree.
The new custom recurrence picker lets you set up any cadence you can think of:
- Every other Tuesday
- The last Friday of every month
- Every 3 weeks, until December
- The 1st and 15th of each month

If you can describe it in plain English, you can probably build it. And it all plays nicely with calendar exports, so your members see it on their calendar the same way you set it up.
improved
Fixed-value store coupons
Sometimes "$20 off" lands harder than "15% off."
You can now create coupons for any of your store products with a flat currency amount instead of a percentage. Currency prefix is automatic - your members see exactly what they're saving in the currency they're paying in.

Members occasionally post in the wrong place. Until now, your only fix was to ask them to repost it themselves. Not great.
Admins can now move any post, with all of its replies attached, into a different hub. A few clicks and the whole conversation lands where it should have been all along.
- Replies travel with the parent post, so nothing gets orphaned
- A clear confirmation dialog means you won't move something by accident
- Even read-only hubs show up in the picker if they're a valid home

Small feature, big quality-of-life win.
One-time and free memberships can now carry a clear end date - and that date is shown to both you and your member, so there's no ambiguity about when access ends.
- Set an end date on any one-time or free membership when you create or edit it
- The expiry shows up on the member's profile, so you can see at a glance who's expiring soon
- Members see their own expiry date too, so they know when it's time to renew

Pairs nicely with renewal reminders if you're running courses, challenges, or seasonal programs.
We've plugged the full Google Fonts library straight into your white label's design settings. Pick any font you want and make your community your own when you're on the Scale plan.

No custom CSS, no developer required - just a typography that finally matches the rest of your brand.

You can now collect custom information from members when they join your space - and prompt existing members to fill in any fields they haven't completed yet.
Set up your intake form from Space Settings. For each field you can:
- Choose a field type: text input, text area, drop-down, and more
- Set validation rules (e.g. URL format for website fields)
- Mark fields as required - existing members will be prompted to fill these in too
- Control whether the field value appears publicly on the member's profile
- Reorder fields and preview the form before saving
Members see the intake prompt as soon as they access your space. Once submitted, their details appear on their profile (for public fields) and are always visible to you as the space owner - including private fields.
From your Customers screen, open "View Details" for any member to see their Intake Details section. You can also manually update any field from there if needed.
Works for members joining via direct invite link or through your store.
We've rethought how members experience your space from the moment they join - and every time they come back. Watch the video walkthrough here.
1) A smarter Start Here
- When a new member joins your space, Start Here automatically pops up so they can't miss it.
- Once they're done, they can close it and it transforms into the Feed.
- Members can always get back to Start Here via the "Start Here" button inside the Feed - it doesn't disappear forever.
- Fully customizable: set your own "Start Here" title, description, and content to match how your onboarding flows - even decide where to direct new members after they've watched your welcome message.

2) The Feed - your space's home base
- After completing Start Here, members land on a Feed that pulls in posts from all your hubs in one place.
- Feature any post to pin it at the top: key announcements, onboarding content, sponsorships, or must-see content.
- Control what appears in the Feed from Feed Settings - like trending posts or recent activity.
- Not for everyone? You can disable the Feed entirely in your space settings. Members will go straight to the first hub with unseen content instead.

3) Member post visibility + levels
- You can now see all posts from any member directly on their profile.
- Every post now shows the member's level, so contribution and status is visible across your community at a glance.

You can now launch courses on a fixed date or drip modules out over time based on each learnerās enrollment date. This gives you more control over pacing, better engagement, and a smoother learner experience.
š„ See it in action in the latest edition of Swarm Bytes.
1) Launch courses on a specific start date
- Set a course start date in the course setup flow.
- Keep enrollment open while clearly showing learners when access begins.
- Run cohort-style programs without manual day-of coordination.
- Optionally notify members when a scheduled course opens.

2) Drip modules automatically (relative release)
- Set a module to unlock X days after each learner enrolls.
- Build true evergreen drip experiences (every learner gets the same pacing from their own start date).
- Keep advanced modules locked until learners reach the right point.
- See clearer āwhen this unlocksā guidance while configuring modules.

3) Send timely notifications without extra work
- Automatically email learners when scheduled courses or newly unlocked modules become available.
- Customize module notification subject/body for your voice and program style.
- Reduce missed lessons and āI didnāt know it was liveā messages.
