You can now collect custom information from members when they join your space - and prompt existing members to fill in any fields they haven't completed yet.
Set up your intake form from Space Settings. For each field you can:
- Choose a field type: text input, text area, drop-down, and more
- Set validation rules (e.g. URL format for website fields)
- Mark fields as required - existing members will be prompted to fill these in too
- Control whether the field value appears publicly on the member's profile
- Reorder fields and preview the form before saving
Members see the intake prompt as soon as they access your space. Once submitted, their details appear on their profile (for public fields) and are always visible to you as the space owner - including private fields.
From your Customers screen, open "View Details" for any member to see their Intake Details section. You can also manually update any field from there if needed.
Works for members joining via direct invite link or through your store.
We've rethought how members experience your space from the moment they join - and every time they come back. Watch the video walkthrough here.
1) A smarter Start Here
- When a new member joins your space, Start Here automatically pops up so they can't miss it.
- Once they're done, they can close it and it transforms into the Feed.
- Members can always get back to Start Here via the "Start Here" button inside the Feed - it doesn't disappear forever.
- Fully customizable: set your own "Start Here" title, description, and content to match how your onboarding flows - even decide where to direct new members after they've watched your welcome message.

2) The Feed - your space's home base
- After completing Start Here, members land on a Feed that pulls in posts from all your hubs in one place.
- Feature any post to pin it at the top: key announcements, onboarding content, sponsorships, or must-see content.
- Control what appears in the Feed from Feed Settings - like trending posts or recent activity.
- Not for everyone? You can disable the Feed entirely in your space settings. Members will go straight to the first hub with unseen content instead.

3) Member post visibility + levels
- You can now see all posts from any member directly on their profile.
- Every post now shows the member's level, so contribution and status is visible across your community at a glance.

You can now launch courses on a fixed date or drip modules out over time based on each learner’s enrollment date. This gives you more control over pacing, better engagement, and a smoother learner experience.
🎥 See it in action in the latest edition of Swarm Bytes.
1) Launch courses on a specific start date
- Set a course start date in the course setup flow.
- Keep enrollment open while clearly showing learners when access begins.
- Run cohort-style programs without manual day-of coordination.
- Optionally notify members when a scheduled course opens.

2) Drip modules automatically (relative release)
- Set a module to unlock X days after each learner enrolls.
- Build true evergreen drip experiences (every learner gets the same pacing from their own start date).
- Keep advanced modules locked until learners reach the right point.
- See clearer “when this unlocks” guidance while configuring modules.

3) Send timely notifications without extra work
- Automatically email learners when scheduled courses or newly unlocked modules become available.
- Customize module notification subject/body for your voice and program style.
- Reduce missed lessons and “I didn’t know it was live” messages.

You (or your members) can now go from asynchronous chat to live call with one click from private groups and conversations.
Look for the video button at the top right of the hub.

You can create recurring events in Swarm. Just look for the new "Repeats" options when creating your next event.

You can can now embed HTML scripts directly into your lesson content - perfect for interactive H5P activities, third-party widgets, and custom HTML components. Scripts are added via a built-in code editor and render live in the lesson with full JavaScript support.

Never miss a moment from your live events. Swarm now automatically generates a transcript and sends a recap email to attendees after every call.
Each email includes a full summary, key takeaways, and action items - so even members who couldn't make it can stay in the loop without needing to watch the recording.
No setup needed. Just run your event and let Swarm handle the rest.
Here's an example:

The hardest part about running a community? Getting people to actually engage.
Swarm already delivers more participation than any other platform. Add leaderboards, levels, badges, and activity tracking? Now you've got the most engaging community platform, period.

Here's what you can do:
🎖️ Reward the behaviors you want to see
Set custom points for likes, replies, and video posts. Want more video content? Award bonus points. Want to discourage low-effort posts? Set them to zero. You decide what matters.
🌱 Build progression into your community
Create levels with custom point thresholds and rename them to match your vibe. Members see exactly what it takes to level up and can track their progress in real time.
🥇 Celebrate wins with badges
Choose from our badge library or create your own. Auto-award them when members hit milestones, or assign them manually with a personal message. Either way, they get an email celebrating their achievement.
👀 Make activity visible
The activity chart shows engagement patterns over time. The darker the green, the more active they've been. It sparks healthy competition and helps members support each other's growth.
You can now invite guests to live events without requiring them to join your community first.
Perfect for open webinars, workshops, podcast recordings, or letting prospects experience your space before committing.
Public event registration pages
When an event is open to guests, Swarm automatically creates a shareable registration page.
Send one link and let members and non-members attend the same event, no account required.
Guest presenters without member access
Invite external speakers to present on your live streams or webinars without adding them to your space.
Guest presenters receive an email invite and can join directly on the day. Simple and secure.
Better live stream and webinar workflows
Live streams now support:
- Multiple presenters
- Clear presenter listings on the event page
- One-way broadcast formats with chat-based audience engagement
Ideal for expert talks, AMAs, panels, and internal broadcasts.
Copy content from one hub to another or create a duplicate hub.
Create a fresh copy in a new hub
- Reuse content for cohorts, challenges, or recurring programs
- Saves time for anyone running repeating workflows, seasons, or sprints.
